Author’s Note: I want to give a thank you to everyone who has been reading, and especially the new readers that have come over to my blog due to “Unstoppable God / Invincible”. Quite happy with the response. Here’s today’s Friday Fictioneers offering for you all.

Day After Day (The Show Must Go On)
by Miles H. Rost
“Cold weather astronomy. Nothing like it.”
Bob looked at his colleage, Dr. Benjamin, and smiled.
“Can you imagine seeing all of the different stars that we couldn’t see from even Tierra Del Fuego?”
“I’m glad we took up this chance to do so.” Dr. Benjamin replied, before pausing a moment. He pointed to the sky, tracing a bright object.
“Look at that! It’s a meteor!”
Bob looked up, and his eyes got wide.
“Dr. Benjamin, that’s not a meteor. That’s something totally different. The color pattern is not yellow. It’s bright blue. We have a UFO.”
He pressed the button on his radio, but only heard clicking and static.
There could be trouble ahead! A gem of a thriller.
The song lulls you into a “ahhhh…” type of feeling, then the story yanks you into a “WTH THE THING IS COMING” type of feeling. That’s the way, uh huh uh huh, I like it. XD
It Came From Beyond (whoooweewhoooo!) This could turn in the direction of any number of Horror/SF classics. What happens next?
No clue. I could go any which direction…
And that’s why they are called UFOs! Good one!
Oh, how exciting. Are they exlporers, or hostile conquistadores? Great take on the prompt.
Thanks. The key is the music. 🙂
Its a matter of odds I think. If you look into the sky 24/7 you are bound to catch a glimpse of a UFO.
Or a person who’s been sent into low-earth orbit. (anime reference)
Love it!
Thank you! I’ll be over to your site soon to see what you came up with! 😀
Thanks!
Could have been a 747!

Sounds like we had similar ideas this week. 🙂
I’m sure there’s a rational explanation. 😉 Nice one.
