I am late to the party, due to other things taking up my time, but here is another entry for Friday Fictioneers. The picture is from my friend David Stewart at The Green Walled Tower. I got an interesting idea for this…
Because MUSIC!
It was hard being a creative director. He came to Korea with his co-worker because of a bell with big sound.”You think this one looks good?”
“Seems a bit puny. Brian wanted a big one.”
“Let’s see what it does.”
He rung the bell.
Suddenly, a humongous *BONG* resounded throughout the countryside. The sound was so thick and rich, the men still vibrated after the bell went silent.
“I liked that!”
“It’s still too tinny. It won’t work.”
“It nearly shook your clothes off. It almost shook you all night long.”
“Sounds like a new song is brewing. AC/DC time.”
Nice reference. I guess this isn’t the Brian I’m thinking of. I don’t know if he’d want a lot of bells. Might overpower the guitar and piano. 🙂
Nope, not that Brian. Though it would be hilarious to hear that Brian singing AC/DC. XD
especially that song 🙂
Well written and good descriptive words. I didn’t catch the references until I watched the music video clip.
Interesting take on the prompt, Miles. I got the musical reference right away. There are a few little bumps yet to iron out, and “rung” should be “rang.” Overall, a good start on a fun story.
Cheers!

I like the idea rang so loudly that the men were still vibrating after the bell stopped. That would be quite a ring. 🙂

Good writing with good imagery and enjoyed it a lot. Nan
Dear Miles,
I could feel the vibrations from here. Good one.
