Here’s another Friday Fictioneers story for you. Don’t forget to read all of my other stories, including Changing Tides, and one of the more talked about stories “The Beginning of Something New”. Can’t wait to hear what you have to say. Now: ON with the show.

Everything It Touches
“So, when did that thing get down here, Charlie?”
“Well, Burt, it was about 2 days ago. We all thought Noor was playing a practical joke with her streamers, when it just landed there.”
“Has it done anything we should know?”
“Not from what I can see, but I did smell lemon and ammonia coming from the houses that it touched.”
“Wait…lemons and ammonia?”
“Yeah. Anything you can think of?”
Charlie called up to his house.
“Hey, Meriel, how does the house look?”
“Clean as a whistle, Charlie. Now get up here for supper!”
Charlie shrugged as Burt looked on in wonder.
Funny 😀 I think we went for a similar theme this week! You might want to check your first sentence though, I think you have a rogue ‘s’ in there.
I’ll have to take a look at your story, then. I got done writing some fiction last night, and this today…so I am resting for tonight and tomorrow.
Some kind of cleaning alien creature? Interesting story….
Either that, or Martha Stewart grew to 50 feet tall with a feather duster! 😀
Just like the Cleaning God! Where DO people find aliens to clean their houses? This is a great story. Thanks.
Uhhhh…ask and ye shall receive? XD
If only! 🙂 Nice.
I coulda said Pine Sol! 😀
Another giant feather duster. I like! Please can I have one land on my house!
Oh wow!Am not such a fan of ammonia but am ready to sacrifice my preference for a squeaky clean house and of course,I love lemons-so when can you send this creature over? ;-)Loved this 🙂
Hilarious. 🙂 It’s great unless the aliens suffer from allergies and sent a slave cleaner ahead to make this place suitable for their landing and takeover. You’ve got to watch these aliens. They can be sneaky. Good story. 🙂
Two words: Mars Attacks. Get me my Slim Whitman albums!
That puts a different spin on the alien invasion. We might welcome them if we could get them to clean the place up a bit. 🙂
They tried that, on “V”. They failed…because instead of sucking up all the dirt, they tried to get our water. 😡
May I have one, please?
janet
I’d like one, as well. Wish I could…>_>
Dear Miles,
I’ll be looking for that big feather duster in the sky. Your story is stronger than dirt and tickles my funny bone.
shalom,
Rochelle
May your Passover be a great one, and full of clean things! 😀
That is one kind of alien .. we come in peace got a whole new meaning…
The cleanest blocks in the world. Lovely.
An alien that cleans? I’ll take one, please.
Get Korean!
Send the aliens to my house – I could use a little Spring Cleaning here (really a lot but I don’t want everyone in the world to know that – you understand). Really good story and neat take on the prompt!
